Tonight Ben & I will be meeting up with Dave from CigarSage.com at Cigar Castle in Tampa. Also I have been informed that Cigar Castle is having an impromptu tweetup tonight as well. If your in the North Tampa area be sure to stop by. So no review tonight but I am thinking today’s pick will be an Fuente Fuente Opus X – Lost City.
About the meetup
for this weeks meetup I brought Ben along to the Cigar Castle and overall it was a pretty good meetup. It was good seeing Dave and meeting Anthony and Sam. Unfortunately I decided to keep the Fuente Fuente Opus X – Lost City for a later review but I did end up smoking two cigars a Tatuaje Black Tubos and a La Riqueza Churchill. The Tatuaje Black Tubos was pretty good but I still think the Tatuaje Red Tubos is a little better and cheaper. The La Riqueza was my first for the brand and I’m pretty sure is under the Tatuaje umbrella toward their low end. Overall the La Riqueza was just okay and was only getting about three or so notes. I will go into more detail later when Ben and I review the La Riqueza Lanceros that we purchased last month.
Dave also invited us to do a guest review on CigarSage.com which we are both looking forward to as well. Only problem is we aren’t quite sure what cigar to do review. The good thing is I have a lot to choose from since my humidor is still overflowing and I may need to get another one soon.
